I haven't been getting my TDL and IWB's via email since January 2006 Annual Forecast mailed issue.

My numerous emails and phone calls to Dines Newsletter folks have gone unanswered.

I know my subscriptions are upto date.

How does one go about handling this situation and also if some of you are also experiencing service issues with Jim Dines publication?

Thanks

No service issues at all, for me.  Comes in email, promptly.  I am a relatively new subscriber.  Have never heard of anyone having a service issue with them.

Kind of cracks me up me when I call them, though, because they sound like they are working with a typewriter (sort of an earlier 20th century throwback in technology...!).

Good Luck!!

The service is brutal, and the phone number is actually to an answering service. They can only pass msgs to customer service. I emailed perhaps 5 times when I first started my sub because it took well over 3 weeks to get going, and phoned and left at least 3 msgs. Once it started though, no probs. Perhaps his whole company really is trying to avoid "hyper-needing to be liked"

But its the performance of the stocks that matter. Smiley

I called with a request this afternoon on ordering something.  We'll see how long it takes to get the answer.

Just trying to understand the main differences between a group 4 (Nearer term) rec. and a group 5 rec. Are there risk level differences?
Is it cap size? Treasury size? They both seem somewhat about the same to me, but would appreciate more insight..thanks Depleted

Its my opinion that category five holds more speculative issues - higher risk - and perhaps are selected earlier before they have started to move up in value.

I think it will be a late one, they are still making decisions around the dart board!
I have not received mine either.

None yet either. Not on the other boards either. Maybe a few last minute updates?

a question!  as a relatively new subscriber to "the letter", I have always recieved them when expected (within a few hours).  So what should I expect now?  Do they ever come out on the weekend, or in the evening, or do I wait until Monday?

I have been a Dines subscriber for over 3 years but this is probably thr first time where it appears that the newsletter has not been released as scheduled.

I did have problems sometimes when I changed email addresses.

I got it at 8:30pm MT (10:30pm ET).

Haven't read it yet so I don't know what it says.
The title does read: "TDL's Current Market Analysis: 'The Coming Real-Estate Crash'"

Noticed that his latest price date used to calculate his gains/losses was from Wednesday (which is normal for his Friday publications).  I thought maybe he delayed the issue to make his portfolio page look better by replacing the current price with today's prices, but that wasn't it.

Also, I noticed he said the next issue will be out in 4 weeks (not 3 as usual), on September 21.
