So that everyone knows what is expected and allowed, here are my thoughts on policies:

1. Profanity or insults are prohibited. I encourage disagreement; personal attacks and insults are prohibited.

2. Spam or advertising is prohibited.

3. You may place links in your posts to other articles that would be of interest to other readers, but links that are obviously spam are prohibited.

Please add to these policies as you see fit.  Thanks.

Also, posting excerpts from entire articles without permission is copyright infringement.


But, for news purposes, you can repost parts of books and news articles provided you give credit and a source link.

There's a line between posting too much of something that is not publicly available.

What that is, I leave to the lawyers.


As long as you credit your source, posting a bit too much will most likely be overlooked.


And of course, you shouldn't post the private stock picks of subscription based newsletters unless you know you've already seen them promoted publicly elsewhere.
