Sidewinder....that was one of the best posts I have seen on this site in quite some time, maybe forever relating to the political socio-economic events occuring around the world at this time, and throughout history.

To me it is really the silliness of ideology.  The slashing of people and really categorizing in a manner of you go here, and she belongs over there is ridiculous and frankly embarrassing to me as an American.

We all sit here and marvel at the power that has become China, yet want to completely disregard and essentiallly belittle or ignore them for the manner in which they are achieving increased prosperity.  (Granted it is at a snails pace when you consider that the average Chinese person makes 700 per year, but thats what happens when millions and millions are making nothing.)  At the same time ignoring our own shortfalls and really the failures of "pure" capitalism, freedom, social responsibility, and checks and balances.

Anyway I have my issues with both of the candidates, major issues, but unfortunately we didn't get America's best and brightest, I might add, as a result of the same narrowminded judgmental idealogs!  

Just as sad is really the rhetoric that is put out there, because our voting population lacks mental capacity to focus for more than 20 seconds on an issue or even care enough to be honest about them.   Our election process has turned into tape cuts, blubs, slanders, infomercials, and basically judging the book by the cover!  Pathetic.

My biggest issue is and has always been the issue of super-majority government.  As a side note, Volcker's history suggests to me that he may actually be the one who creates the most bullish scenario for gold and silver.  Dont hold me to that please, I have more research to do.....but that is what I am thinking.

Obama refuses to challenge Birth Certificate Lawsuit

A Pennsylvania lawsuit alleging that Barack Obama is not a “natural-born citizen” of the United States took an unusual twist this week, after a federally mandated deadline requiring Obama’s lawyers to produce a “vault” copy of his birth certificate expired with no response from Obama or his lawyers.

The lawsuit, filed by former Pennsylvania Deputy Attorney General Philip J. Berg — a self-avowed supporter of Hillary Clinton — alleges that Barack Obama was born in Kenya and is thus “ineligible” to run for president of the United States. It demands that Obama’s lawyers produce a copy of his original birth certificate to prove that he is a natural-born U.S. citizen.

Berg's suit and allegations have set off a wave of Internet buzz and rumours, though Obama could easily have put the matter to rest by providing the federal court with the basic documentation proving he is eligible to take the oath of a president. But Obama has apparently decided to deny the court and the public that documentation.

The U.S. Constitution provides that any American citizen is eligible to become president if the person is 35 years of age or older and is a natural-born citizen; that is, born in the territorial United States. [/quote]

I think I saw one of the copies of the supposed Obama birth certificate without the Hawaii seal, quite some months ago.  It has to be one with the raised seal.

From the US Constitution:

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

If you want to see some civil urest and martial law just let the courts act on this one.  Are you telling me that the US government has allowed this election process to proceed to this point and this has not been acted upon until days before the election?  They have been campaigning for 2 years and the matching funds issue, secret service protection and on and on would be prima facie evidence that this candidate meets all the requirements to fill the office.

I used to use snopes.com exclusively until just a few days ago when it came to my attention that it is owned by a liberal.

I am now using www.truthorfiction.com to get more accurate information.

I don't imagine there will be any civil unrest if it is found out the birth certificate is false.  I believe better about the American people.

I think there will be huge disappointment in Obama, however.

This issue is not new, news orgaizations have been asking for this document for many, many months have have not gotten it from Obama.

I went to that truthorfiction site and it's simply an anti-obama site.  Snopes has been around a long time and is mostly concerned with fact or fiction. 

Something is either true or not true.  I am only concerned with the truth.  that it as simply as I can put it.
I am trying to trade and really don't have any more time for this nonsense.  frankly it's getting just a little bit too weird for my taste.  Good luck on you crusade to smear Obama.

What I find really interesting about this is that Berg, the guy going before the US Supreme Court is a Democrat and Hilllary Clinton supporter and was the Deputy Attorney General of the State of PA.
