For you guys wanting to do some quick trading in a gold stock, you might want to look at:

Seems to have pretty good volatility for you technical types...

Interesting on China in this article. Indication is positive for gold.
And last year China hinted they wante3d to purchase 4000 tons on the open market.
They will.
Just another nail in the U.S. coffin...

The Chinese must have bought a hammer because here’s another nail:

Thanks SS!
I just got up an hour ago after a very late night studying.
Looks like China is going to hammer every morning, LOL
Get gold and especially silver while you still can.
Google some articles on Dubai becoming the world's center for precious metals: Just put in "dubai gold market" and start reading...
These are big nails, folks!

They are doing it in a way that is getting little attention so far but believe you me the FED and the IMF and the US Treasury are watching with fear in their hearts.
Shades of Onlookers post yeaterday about the Washington Consensus. They will be absolutely powerless to stop all of this. China is too big to fail.
Get you gold and silver today.
Fear is on the way once the realization finally hits the street in a few weeks, and summer employment ends.
You can forget all this good news on Goldman Sachs today.

Just returned from a 2 months hiatus, sorry to have missed most of your comments and the daily suspense of the stock market.
But my stock investments in oil, copper and lots of gold are doing just fine. And I always thought you have to be at the action every hour every day. Maybe gold is changing the approach, with some apprehension of the ides of September and October.

I think technically I agree with Marty Armstrong on the gold and a move into the $1300-$1700 over the next 18 months would not violate any channel and be considered normal technically. What I do watch for is, unusual movements indicating the lack of confidence in government. And if I were a gauge of that, it would already be over $5000 today.

Some very interesting speculation going on in Gold right now. Steve Grasso was saying today that there was some talk on the floor, that maybe Biden knew something ahead of time on tomorrows employment numbers or that somebody did. Suggesting that Gold would go up on employment numbers being VERY GOOD and further indicating improving economic activity. NOT based on the sky falling. That is a very interesting take IMO.
One thing we saw last CRASH was that money flowed to USD for safety not gold, at a time when the world economic system was collapsing. That I think surprised us all.
So the bullish gold case, is a move based on very postitive economic activity, INFLATIONARY down the road. This makes sense to me, much more than the apocolyptic scenario.
I bring this up because there is so much talk on this board of gold going gangbusters on a world collapse, but actually I think that in this environment, I think it points to greatly improved econmic activity as a result of large government spending, worldwide, THATS WORKING!
Improved economic activity ahead should help gold breakout to those much higher levels, because that will be inflationary activity. This would also support the weak dollar thesis. This is commodity bullish IMO.

We are approaching the season for our little commodities to come to life.
As far as the dollar, I posted something months ago about the race to the bottom among currencies. and how while the dollar is the pits, the other nations are in worse condition than we are and things are relative. At this time I am not that worried about the dollar in relation to many of the other world currencies. We tank together and others will suffer more that the dollar.
I guess you just have to follow the geese.
