Denison – A blast from the past – Hold ’em if you’ve got’em

Recommendation: Hold

Well, here’s a blast from the past. I owned Denison a year ago, and then sold when it got stalled and stopped doing anything. I believe the problem at the time was that management got complacent, and stopped acquiring companies, or doing anything.

Since the end of October DEN.TO has gone on a great run, so the correct play would have been to purchase it as it was leaving the consolidation phase. I wasn’t watching it, so I wasn’t buying, and it’s probably too late now, but if you do own it, I would rate it as a hold.

The lesson here, I guess, is that just because you give up on a stock and sell it, that does not mean you should stop following it, because at some point you may want to buy it again (which is the same category I would put Camceo Corp. in at the moment.
