On Tuesday I wrote an article speculating that the December 22, 2006 The Dines Letter may be advising the purchase of SAN.V – Santoy Resources Ltd. Well, guess what: he did. He also added MAW.V – Mawson Resources Ltd. to his buy list, which we also speculated may happen. Interestingly, he did not add, CXX.V – Crosshair Exploration & Mining Corp. to his buy list.
I therefore speculate that when trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange reopens on Wednesday (after being closed for Christmas Day and Boxing Day), we should see a big uptick in Santoy and Mawson, particularly since they are relatively thinly traded stocks. I am obviously quite pleased that I added them to my Suggested Portfolio last week.
Also interesting is that DML.TO – Denison Mines Corp. is back on the list, even though it is rated as a hold, after the “purchase” of Denison by IUC.TO – International Uranium Corp., with IUC retaining Denison’s name (although the ticker symbol has changed). Very strange that the acquiror keeps the acquiree’s name, but not to worry, Denison is on our list as well.
Check back for our more detailed commentary later on the weekend.
