In order to maintain democratic majorities in both houses come November 2010, the stock market must be manipulated to do well; the money supply must be inflated; government expenditures must increase; the unemployment rate must be reduced; interest rates must be kept artificially low as it is now; etc

Here’s how I did in 2009:
Bought Pinetree only at 0.31/share on 12/09/2008 and it is at $2.02 as of 12/24/2009 and I’m expecting it to go to $7/share in 2010….
My investments were down 90% plus on 12/09/2008

On a percentage basis my overall portfolio is up around 50% from January 1, 2009 – but this was coming after being down 50% in 2008 – not quite back to where I was in 2008.
